In keeping with our dynamic and innovative spirit Piola.libri is also an open space for artistic events. We host not just literary, but all forms of artistic events and artists from all over the world. In addition to conferences, book presentations, lectures and debates Piola.libri invites you to come and enjoy our regular exhibitions of photography and painting featuring both well known and up-and-coming artists. We feature each artist for a period of three weeks, with work displayed all around the bookstore and wine bar.
For music lovers we organize regular concerts of Italian music as well as acoustic jazz sessions, swing and electro. Our regular Tuesday evening “jazz apéro” never fails to delight.
Oenology is an art form unto itself. We take it very seriously, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun also. To help you discover (and rediscover) the enormous selection of Italian vintages we organize tasting sessions for everyone with our own resident experts.
We are always looking for new, exciting and interesting exhibitions to host. Our doors are always open to all artists who would like to present their creations.
